HOW TO MEASURE
A. CHEST / BUST:
Wrap measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest/bust. Keep tape parallel to the floor and snug but not tight. For men, measure at nipple level. For women, measure across the fullest part of the bust.
B. WAIST:
Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso), usually at or slightly above belly button level. Stand naturally without sucking in your stomach. Tape should rest comfortably.
C. HIPS (Women's):
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, usually 7-9 inches below your natural waist. Keep tape parallel to floor and stand with feet together.
D. SHOULDER:
Measure ACROSS YOUR BACK from one shoulder point to the other (where arm meets shoulder). Keep tape straight across the back. This is NOT from neck to shoulder!
E. SLEEVE:
Bend your elbow slightly (about 90 degrees). Measure from the shoulder point (where shoulder meets arm) down the outside of your arm past the elbow to your wrist bone. The slight bend ensures proper fit.
F. JACKET LENGTH:
Measured from base of collar at back of neck (or highest shoulder point) straight down to the bottom hem of the jacket.
HOW SHOULD A LEATHER JACKET FIT?
- CHEST: Should allow 1-2 inches of ease for movement. You should be able to wear a sweater underneath comfortably.
- SHOULDERS: Shoulder seam should sit at your natural shoulder point—not drooping down your arm or pulling toward your neck. This is the MOST important fit point!
- SLEEVES: Should end at your wrist bone when arms are relaxed. When arms are extended, sleeves should come to base of thumb.
- LENGTH: Regular fit should end at your waist/hip bone. Cropped styles end at natural waist. Long styles cover hips.
- WAIST: Should have some room but not be baggy. Most leather jackets taper slightly at waist.
💡 SIZING TIP: Between Two Sizes?
Biker/Casual jackets: Choose the larger size (allows for layering)
Fashion/Fitted jackets: Choose the smaller size (leather stretches with wear)
Sheepskin jackets: Always size up due to bulk
Remember: Genuine leather stretches 0.5-1 size with wear, particularly in shoulders, chest, and elbows.

Q: Will leather jackets stretch?
A: Yes! Genuine leather stretches 0.5-1 size with wear, particularly in shoulders, chest, and elbows. Sheepskin stretches less due to fur lining. A slightly snug jacket will mold to your body perfectly over time.
Q: Can I alter a leather jacket?
A: Easy alterations include shortening sleeves, adjusting hem length, and taking in the waist. Shoulder alterations are expensive and difficult. You cannot lengthen sleeves or add material. Always get the shoulders right—they can't be fixed!
Q: How much room should I have for layering?
A: For t-shirt only, standard fit works. For thin sweater, standard fit with 1-2" ease is good. For hoodie/thick sweater, size up or choose relaxed fit. We don't recommend wearing winter coats under leather jackets.
Q: What if I'm between sizes?
A: For biker/casual jackets, choose the larger size for layering. For fashion/fitted jackets, choose the smaller size as leather stretches. For sheepskin, always size up due to bulk. If chest and waist are different sizes, go with chest measurement.
Q: Do different jacket styles fit differently?
